America’s Doctor, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Emmy Award-winning host of The Dr. Oz Show, will headline the 5th annual WPBF 25 Health & Safety Festival presented by Futures of Palm Beach. The free event takes place at The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach Gardens on Saturday, April 1, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dr. Mehmet Oz
“America’s Doctor” will help attendees empower and transform their lives with his entertaining new presentation focused on the top health issues affecting South Floridians today. Topics will include aging well, the Zika virus, medical marijuana, opioid addiction, organ donation, saving lives with CPR, and many more issues focused on a better you.  Dr. Oz will also lead the discussion among a panel of distinguished local medical professionals zeroing in on medical topics important to your family.

Amy Robach
This year Dr. Oz will welcome his special guest, ABC’s Good Morning America news anchor and health advocate Amy Robach. The seasoned television journalist, and bestselling author and lecturer, will share her advice for living a happy and healthy life. She will also discuss her own public breast cancer story which played out on national television. Robach will offer simple ways to commit to a healthier lifestyle every day. 

Local Health & Wellness Experts
Hear from local experts during a series of fascinating discussions on the main stage. Throughout the lower level of the mall, booths will feature dozens of local medical experts ready to answer your personal questions about health, nutrition, wellness, beauty, and more. See product demonstrations and learn about the latest advances that can improve your life. It’s a rare opportunity to interact directly with the most sought-after local health professionals in South Florida.

Complimentary blood pressure screenings will also be available throughout the day. Free heart rate monitors will be randomly awarded at the end of the event.  Note:  A complete list of participating professionals and seminars will be posted soon.

After feedback from you, we’ve added a new safety component to this year’s show. The Justice Network, The Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Palm Beach County Sherriff’s Office and other safety organizations are teaming up to empower you. Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a specific area for early line up?

·     You may line up outside the mall doors at 6:30a.m.  Guests will not be permitted to line up prior to 6:30a.m. The mall doors open at 7:30a.m. There is limited seating for Dr. Oz's presentation. Seating is limited. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee you will get a seat even if you stand in line prior to the presentation.

·     Any guests on mall property before 7:30am, when the doors open, should line up at the Lower Level of The Gardens Mall between the entrances to Bloomingdale’s and Sears. Guests are not be able to reserve seating or line up in Grand Court prior to 7:30am.

·     Personal chairs of any kind are NOT permitted. Loitering in the event space prior to the presentation is not permitted.

·     There will be handicapped seating on the ends of assigned aisles. Handicapped guests are welcome to bring one guest with them into the assigned seating area.

Is Dr. Oz here the entire day 10a.m.-4p.m.?
Dr. Oz has two important presentations to share with South Florida during the day. We cannot release the schedule at this time. The schedule will be announce the day of the event!

Will Dr. Oz be taking photos with guests?
Due to the schedule of events, Dr. Oz will not be taking official photos with guests.

Will Dr. Oz be in one location the entire event, or moved around The Gardens Mall?
Dr. Oz will be in Grand Court only.

Will there be TV’s to view Dr. Oz for people who are not close up to the Presentation Stage?
There will be multiple TV screens on the first level in the Grand Court and extending into the adjacent foyers and on the second level in the Food Court area during Dr. Oz presentation and throughout the day.

Is this a taped live show?
No, this presentation and event will not be broadcast on Dr. Oz’s national television show, however parts of the day may be broadcast on WPBF 25.

How do I submit a question for Dr. Oz?
Submit your questions on the day of the event in the question box located at our “Meet the WPBF 25 News Anchors” area.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for $5 beginning at 10am at the PF Chang’s China Bistro entrance.
