The Gardens Mall Unveiled
Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. (October 20, 2009) – The Gardens Mall, the premier shopping destination in Palm Beach County, is home to high-end, fashion-forward retailers in an award-winning environment filled with architectural drama and fine art.
“Our customers already experience our combination of the finest selection of retail and dining options,” said Deborah Negri, marketing director at The Gardens Mall. “We will continue to show how much we appreciate them by adding many luxurious touches to our already beautiful property.”
Four main areas that have had extensive renovations are:
THE GRAND COURT
The Grand Court has been transformed into a large piazza featuring custom-designed glass art partitions in six locations. Bronze sculpture Diana is surrounded by satin stainless chairs and granite tables as part of a café within the piazza. Crème-colored porcelain flooring defines the area. The existing fountains feature new mosaic finishes with 28-foot water jets. A redesigned glass-enclosed elevator offers spectacular views of the entire Grand Court.
THE FOOD COURT
The Food Court features porcelain tile floors, a new fountain and cherry wood dining booths, tables and chairs. A 300-foot hand painted oil-on-canvas mural depicting Florida’s history surrounds the entire space.
THE EXTERIOR
Existing entry pavilions are finished in polished limestone, with skylights crowning each pavilion. Light-beige brick pavers transitioning into polished stone replaced existing red brick. Two illuminated, frosted glass art pylons flank each entry pavilion. The stone walkway bridges the existing ponds, which feature new mosaic tile finishes into engaging waterfalls. The entire property underwent a rejuvenation of landscape architecture as well.
THE INTERIOR
Interior mall improvements include cherry wood, natural stone and mosaic tile finishes on all existing built-in planters and seating areas. Seating is comprised with beautiful new fabrics and leather. Custom-designed carpeting provides a finishing touch of elegance. The Gardens’ distinctive structural steel is painted in soft, muted tones. A mixed use of natural and faux landscaping enhances the fountain, interior sculpture and seating areas.
“Customers count on The Gardens Mall for an extravagant shopping experience like no other,” Negri continued. “Our ‘Best in Class’ upgrades make The Gardens Palm Beach County’s ultimate shopping destination.”
