Security Department

The Gardens Mall Security Department employs trained security professionals licensed through the State of Florida who are committed to Customer Service, Risk Management and Crime Prevention services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

Security officers are available to assist in making the experiences of guests and store employees pleasant, and may be reached by calling the Security Command Center at:  561-622-7078 anytime.

  • Assistance with Lost and Found items
  • Vehicle battery jump starts
  • Assistance in locating lost vehicles
  • Escorting guests
  • Assistance in locating lost loved ones
  • Locating stores or services in and around the Mall
  • Emergency response, CPR and AED
  • Assistance in contacting the local Police Department
  • Parking lot restrictions and delivery information

Parking

  • Park only in delineated parking spaces. Curb or traffic lane parking is not permitted.
  • Mall entrances are for drop off and pick up only. Vehicles left unattended in drop off/pick up areas are subject to towing at owner’s expense without notice.
  • Overnight parking is prohibited. Vehicles left parked overnight are subject to tow, at owner’s expense, at any time without notice.
  • Charter buses may drop off and pick up passengers at designated entrances.
  • Parking for oversized vehicles or vehicles with trailers may park in the Oversized Parking Area. Please turn off engines while parked. Camping or overnight parking is not permitted.
  • Vendors conducting work on property for the Mall or its stores must contact Security for clearance before beginning work.
  • Please do not leave children or pets in an unattended vehicle for any length of time.
  • Handicapped parking spaces are available at each mall entrance. Wheelchairs are available at Concierge.

Conduct

  • Conduct that is disorderly, disruptive, or endangers others is not permitted.
  • Loitering, blocking storefronts or fire exits and walking in groups in such a way as to inconvenience others is not permitted.
  • Clothing may not attract negative attention and must be worn in an appropriate, non-offensive manner without the exposure of undergarments. Clothing worn to obscure the face other than for cultural, medical or religious beliefs is prohibited.
  • Picketing, distributing handbills, soliciting or petitioning is not permitted.
  • The commission of any act defined by Federal, State, or Local ordinances as a criminal act is not permitted.
  • The open display of weapons of any kind, including guns, knives, or other bladed or blunt force arms, is prohibited.

Photography

  • We welcome you to The Gardens Mall. Please enjoy a day of shopping and we appreciate you sharing your experience with us with your friends, as well as on your social media channels. We do ask that if you are capturing content for commercial purposes that you visit our management office on level one to fill out the appropriate paperwork and fees.

Safety Tips

  • Report suspicious activity to security immediately via phone, in person with an officer, or by asking store personnel to contact security for you.
  • Do not leave valuables unattended.
  • Valuables should not be left in your vehicles including the trunk. Secure valuables at your residence or keep them on your person.
  • Should you experience a medical, fire, or police emergency, contact 911 first giving the Mall and your exact location within the Mall, and then alert security.
  • Security is available to escort guests and tenants to or from their vehicle.

Smoking

  • The Gardens Mall does not permit smoking in accordance with the Clean Indoor Air Act.

Pet Guidelines and ADA Requirements

The Gardens Mall is committed to maintaining a positive experience for all guests. We strive to balance the wish of some guests to bring their pet to the Mall, while realizing not all guests enjoy this as a part of their shopping experience. Our goals are safety, sanitation, avoiding disruption of Mall activities and our guests’ enjoyment of the unique atmosphere we provide. Service animals as prescribed by “ADA 2010 Revised Requirements” and defined by Florida State Statutes in section 413.08(1d) are always welcome at The Gardens Mall. Non-service animals are limited to dogs and must be held or secured in a stroller or pet carrier tote. For more information on service animal requirements please visit www.ADA.gov.
